Text Adventures

This is a blog dedicated to text adventures. Hopefully, we will post one as soon as one is finished. The way a text adventure is finished is if you complete an objective or die trying. Good luck!

literarymercenary asked: Is anything at the bottom of the puddle?

This thought crosses your mind, and you realize that you could easily have missed something. The bottom of the puddle could hold an escape, a magical portal, a buried treasure, or even something to get you off this island.

Sand.

Lots of sand. In fact, the puddle isn’t that big, so the fact that there’s still water in it with that much sand is very concerning to you. The sand isn’t holding up so well, either.

Alas, you reach your hand in and hope to at least find dinner for the day. A crab or something. Your hand hits something metal.

What will you do now? Dig up the metal object or something else?

elserealms asked: Try to remember how you got here.

You try to remember how you ended up on the island in the first place. Unfortunately, the only events that you can remember involved going to bed, like normal, and waking up.

Or was that a dream?

You also remember a party that had occurred around the same time of the dream/memory/thought in your brain, and some strange people that you had never seen before at the party. Maybe that has something to do with why you’re there in the first place?

As you think about the scenario that brought you to your current situation, you realize that something is moving on another island. It is closer than the third island, but still is a far swim.

What do you do now?

Text Adventure #1 - Start Here!

You wake up.

You are stranded on a deserted island with no one around. You see 2 other islands, but they look far away. The only thing on the island you are on is sand, a small puddle, and a single tree.

What do you want to do now?
